  • Powerful naturally aspirated V12 with an iconic soundtrack
  • Numerous recent maintenance works completed
  • Complete history with service book, numerous invoices and inspection report

Our Aston Martin DB7 V12 Vantage, first registered on May 15, 2003, currently shows 74,000 km.

Originally from Monaco, it is currently registered in France. This example has had six owners, with the current owner acquiring it in August 2025.

This example is presented in an elegant Antrim Blue finish, combined with a cream leather interior. The bodywork is in generally good condition, showing only a few minor cosmetic imperfections and some marks underneath the front bumper. The interior is in good condition, with leather upholstery that has retained its original patina. The dashboard instrumentation is fully operational.

Under the bonnet, the iconic 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 develops 420 hp and is paired with an automatic gearbox. A true British grand tourer, this DB7 Vantage is as appealing for its performance as it is for its timeless elegance. Its excellent mechanical history, maintained throughout its life by Aston Martin and recognised specialists, makes it a particularly reassuring example.

Historique du Modèle

When the DB7 arrived in 1994 it reintroduced Aston Martin to a wider audience with Ian Callum’s timeless shape and a supercharged straight‑six. Five years later, the DB7 V12 Vantage (1999–2003) landed the knockout blow: an all‑aluminium 5.9‑litre V12 with 420 bhp, turning the svelte 2+2 into a bona‑fide high‑speed GT. It wasn’t just a bigger engine; the Vantage gained strengthened subframes, revised suspension, bigger brakes and 18‑inch wheels to cope with the extra pace, and it introduced the brand’s now‑familiar Touchtronic automatic alongside a six‑speed manual.

The V12 Vantage arrived into a hotly contested arena. Ferrari’s 456 and 550 Maranello offered exotic V12 glamour, Porsche’s 996 Turbo set the all‑weather benchmark, Jaguar’s XKR undercut everyone on price, and Maserati’s charismatic 3200 GT chased buyers with style. Against that lot, the DB7 V12 played a different hand: effortless torque, aristocratic ride quality and one of the most elegant bodies of the era. Period testers loved the engine’s cultured howl and its long‑legged stride; criticisms mostly targeted the automatic’s softer responses on a challenging road. Either way, top speed brushed 185–186 mph and 0–60 mph took around five seconds—serious numbers at the time.

The Vantage also marked a philosophical return to Aston Martin’s grand tradition of multi‑cylinder power, bridging the gap from the straight‑six DBs and thunderous V8s to the millennial V12 era. It helped sustain the company through the Bloxham years and built momentum for the Vanquish and DB9 to follow. Works Service would happily sharpen yours with the Driving Dynamics package—stiffer springs and dampers, uprated brakes and subtle aero tweaks—while later, related spin‑offs such as the DB7 V12 GT/GTA and coachbuilt Zagato and AR1 added extra spice and collectability.

Fun facts? Many owners and reviewers lazily called it “the most beautiful car in the world”—a cliché that happens to feel right when one’s staring down that low bonnet and mesh grille. The DB7’s Ford‑era underpinnings (with TWR development and Callum’s pen) kept costs sane without blunting the theatre; Connolly leather, real wood and that V12’s silken manners took care of the rest. DB7s, V12s included, became magazine cover regulars and TV darlings on both sides of the Atlantic, their understated glamour often popping up in films and small‑screen cameos as shorthand for British class.

By the time production ended, several thousand V12‑powered DB7s had been built. More importantly, the V12 Vantage cemented Aston Martin’s modern identity: handsome, sonorous, usable every day—and quick enough to make continent‑crossing feel like an indulgence rather than an ordeal.
