Our Porsche 911 Type 991 Carrera 4 GTS was delivered new in France at the Porsche Nantes Center and put into circulation on December 2, 2015. It only knows one owner so far.
This copy is in excellent overall condition. In a Carmine Red color, combined with black rims, a black leather and alcantara interior as well as carbon inserts, our 991 Carrera 4 GTS is free from reproach. A slight dent on a rim will be taken care of before the sale.
On the mechanical side, its operation is flawless. The 430-horsepower 3.8L Flat 6, combined with the 7-speed PDK automatic transmission, is as expressive as ever. It should be noted that this copy is in the original configuration chosen by the manufacturer for the launch of its model. The maintenance is carried out exclusively in the Porsche Center. At the dawn of the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911, the German brand presented its new generation, the 991, at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. As with previous generations, the S, Cabriolet, Turbo and Targa versions are among the new models.
The 991 is based on a completely new platform, which is wider and longer by 100mm and 70mm respectively. The use of aluminum and composite materials reduces the weight by around 1,560 kilos for the 991 Carrera 4 GTS. These changes are accompanied by an evolution of the Flat 6, now developing 430 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque which, combined with the PDK automatic transmission, takes the 991 from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. This engine will also be the last naturally aspirated engine, with Porsche abandoning this solution in favor of the turbo.
The Flat 6 and the PDK gearbox justify the purchase of this 991 Carrera 4 GTS. The gear changes are meticulous, causing the roar of the Flat 6 with each acceleration. You never get tired of the feedback from gear changes. A perfect blend of everyday driving and a radical version, the GTS is the perfect compromise to take advantage of all the qualities of a 911, helped here by its all-wheel drive.
In terms of design, the 991 benefits from a new light signature at the rear and a more harmonious design thanks to the longer wheelbase and wider tracks. The soft top strictly repeats the shape of the roof of the closed version without an arch, thanks to the presence of rigid elements. In the cabin, the abundance of leather and the numerous options offered achieve excellence. PDK gearbox, Sport Chrono pack, sports exhausts and extended leather are the equipment of choice to perfect the configuration of its model.
