Under the hood, this Cayman is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.7L Flat-6 developing 275 horsepower, coupled to the PDK gearbox. The maintenance was carried out exclusively in the Porsche Center. The last revision was carried out on February 6, 2024, at 74,056 km. The complete history as well as the invoices are available. The consumables are in good condition, no costs are to be expected.
Here are the options and equipment available to this copy:
The Porsche Cayman 981, the third generation of the model, was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012, with marketing starting in 2013 for the 2014 model year. Based on the Boxster 981 platform, it adopts a design inspired by the 911 (991) and 918, with a completely revised body, an extended wheelbase and torsional stiffness improved by 40% compared to the previous generation.
The Cayman 981 is offered in two versions: a standard model with a 2.7-liter flat-6 engine and a Cayman S equipped with the 3.4 liter. Both are available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Options like Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and the Sport Chrono Package further improve performance, while Porsche announces a 15% reduction in fuel consumption.
In 2014, the range was expanded with the Cayman GTS, which benefited from a slight increase in power and aesthetic changes. In 2015, the Cayman GT4 appeared, equipped with the engine from the 911 Carrera S (991.1) and suspension elements from the GT3. Produced in 2,500 copies, it quickly became a model sought after by collectors.
