Our Ferrari 812 GTS Atelier, delivered new in Luxembourg on February 17, 2023, today totals 7,910 km. It was imported and registered in France, where it changed owners in August 2024.
Presented in the exterior color Grigio Silverstone Matt, combined with a Nero leather interior, this 812 GTS has a look that is both sophisticated and radical, typical of configurations from the Atelier program. The body and the cabin are in perfect condition, with no notable defects. All the on-board instrumentation is working perfectly.
Under the hood, the legendary 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 develops 800 horsepower, transmitted to the rear wheels by an F1 dual-clutch automatic transmission. An exceptional mechanism offering pure performance and an inimitable sound. No costs are to be expected.

With its comprehensive follow-up, its impeccable condition and a highly desirable Atelier configuration, this Ferrari 812 GTS embodies the quintessence of Italian grand tourism: raw power, aesthetic perfection and mechanical nobility combined in an exceptional convertible.
Ferrari 812 GTS (2019–2024) brought the front‑engined V12 spider back to Ferrari’s regular line-up for the first time in half a century, echoing the spirit of the 1969 365 GTS/4 “Daytona” Spider. Based on the 812 Superfast, it kept the same naturally aspirated 6.5‑litre V12 and transaxle layout, but packaged a compact retractable hardtop that tucks away in 14 seconds at up to 45 km/h without ruining the car’s aero balance.
The headline stats became instant legend among petrolheads: 800 PS (789 bhp) at 8,500 rpm, 718 Nm at 7,000 rpm, an 8,900 rpm redline and a 340 km/h top speed. Ferrari combined the F140 V12 with a lightning 7‑speed dual‑clutch, rear‑wheel steering (Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0), e‑diff and Side Slip Control 5.0. Despite the extra roof hardware, weight distribution stayed a distinctly Ferrari 47/53 front‑to‑rear, preserving that eager turn‑in and traction out of slow corners that road testers raved about.
Its emergence in 2019 wasn’t just about fresh air; it was a statement. As rivals turned to turbocharging or hybridisation, Maranello doubled down on a high‑revving, naturally aspirated V12 experience with steering feel sharpened by Ferrari’s first‑generation EPS tuning on a V12 GT. Period reviews from Autocar, Evo and Top Gear were unanimous on the engine’s operatic character and throttle response, noting only mild scuttle shake and some wind buffeting with the roof down at very high speeds—hardly surprising at 200 mph capability.
Competition was fierce and eclectic: Aston Martin DBS Superleggera/DBS Volante, Lamborghini Aventador S/SVJ Roadster, even McLaren’s 720S Spider nipped at its heels on price and pace. Yet none matched the 812 GTS’s front‑engined V12 theatre. Ferrari’s limited Monza SP1/SP2 and later 812 Competizione A stole headlines, but the GTS remained the attainable open‑top flagship—built in meaningful numbers rather than as a numbered special.
There were running updates rather than overhauls: regional adoption of gasoline particulate filters in Europe from launch, incremental software and HMI refinements, and a broadening of personalisation through Atelier and Tailor Made. In the media, the GTS starred across magazine covers and YouTube tests, its soundtrack often the thumbnail hook. Collectors quickly pegged it as a future landmark—the last series‑production, front‑engined Ferrari V12 spider of the 812 era, and one of the purest ways to hear Maranello’s big twelve breathe in the wild.
