Our Honda S2000 was delivered new in Switzerland in 2001. Its current owner, French, purchased it in 2019 from CARUGATI Automobiles, renowned for the quality of the cars it offers for sale.

Our Honda S2000 is in exceptional condition, in keeping with its very low mileage of 35,000 kilometers. In Ascari Red, combined with a hard-top of the same color, a black leather interior and a black canvas electrically operated soft top, our Honda S2000 simply has no aesthetic flaws.

Mechanically, we are dealing with an almost new car. The 240-horsepower naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine, combined with its 6-speed manual gearbox, sings as on the first day. We have a file showing the regular maintenance of our S2000, carried out at Bahman Cars, Honda and Carugati, as recorded in the maintenance book. A complete revision will be done for sale.

The Honda S2000 was presented as a concept car (then called SSM) at the 1995 Tokyo Motor Show. The serial version was marketed from 15 April 1999 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the brand.

This new model has its roots in Honda history, following in particular the nomenclature of the brand's roadsters, such as the S500, S600 or S800. The “S” of course means “Sport” and “2000" corresponds to the engine capacity.

A sporty roadster par excellence, the Honda S2000 has a fluid and simple line. The style, inside and out, offers a very pure design. Honda is innovating by integrating a digital tachometer into the dashboard. The graphics, of an unusual style, take up the principle of racing cars and give this tachometer a prominent place. The raison d'être of this tachometer is not linked to the simple search for a style effect, it is very useful for controlling the lyrical flights of the incredible engine of the Honda S2000. This 2.0 l naturally aspirated 4-cylinder, type F20C, in fact shines with its efficiency of 120 hp/l and is capable of taking 9,000 rpm.

Voted the best engine in the world from 2000 to 2003, the F20C delivers 240 horsepower at 8,300 rpm and gives the S2000 a playful and very pleasant character, helped by the brilliantly maneuverable 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Honda S2000 offers a 50/50 weight distribution between front and rear, guaranteeing balance and excellent handling.

Remember that like all Hondas, the S2000 offers a very high level of engineering combined with a reputation for reliability that is rarely equalled.
