Our Mercedes-Benz CLS 55 AMG, put on the road on 1 April 2005, has now reached 73,900 km. Imported from Japan in 2016, it is registered in France and its current owner took possession of it in December 2018.
This example is presented in a simple configuration, with a black body in excellent condition, without any aesthetic defect. Ceramic polish and wax were applied in 2020. The black leather interior is in perfect condition, with no noticeable wear and tear, and all the instrumentation is working normally.
Under the hood, we find the 5.5-liter V8 developing 476 horsepower, combined with an automatic transmission. The mechanics are in perfect working condition and have always been rigorously monitored. No costs are to be expected.

Presented in 2004, the Mercedes-Benz CLS 55 AMG inaugurated a unique approach at Mercedes: that of the “4-door coupe”. Based on the first generation of CLS (C219), it combines a new fastback silhouette with the mechanics already known from the E55 AMG.
Under the hood, we find the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 (code M113K), with 476 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Combined with a five-speed automatic transmission, this engine allows the large saloon coupe to reach 100 km/h in just over 4 seconds, impressive figures for a car weighing nearly 1.9 tons.
The chassis uses the Airmatic air suspension, reworked by AMG, as well as a reinforced braking system. Aesthetically, the CLS 55 AMG remains simple: specific rims, double exhaust pipes and a slightly modified front fascia are enough to distinguish it from the classic versions.
Produced until 2006 before being replaced by the CLS 63 AMG, this version remains unique in the history of the brand. For the first time, it combined a niche body with an AMG engine, paving the way for a formula that would become a standard in the Mercedes range over the following decades.
