Our Porsche 911 Type 997 Carrera, delivered new in Germany on December 13, 2007, shows 105,000 KM today. It was imported into France and changed ownership on August 2, 2024.
This copy is presented in a Gray color, combined with a black leather interior. The body is in good overall condition, while the interior shows slight signs of leather wear, consistent with use. All the on-board instrumentation is working perfectly.
Equipped with the naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-6 developing 325 horsepower, this 997 is combined with a recently revised Tiptronic automatic transmission. The mechanics are in perfect working condition. No costs are to be expected.

The Porsche 911 Type 997 represents the sixth generation of the 911, produced between 2004 and 2013. It succeeds the 996, while correcting several controversial aesthetic and technical choices. The exterior design, validated in 2001 after several prototypes, was signed by Grant Larson. It reintroduces the separate oval headlights, abandoning the “fried eggs” style of the previous generation.
The first 997 Carrera and Carrera S were launched in 2004. The Carrera 4 and 4S all-wheel drive versions followed at the end of 2005, then the Turbo, GT3 and GT2 versions between 2006 and 2007. The model is offered as a coupe, cabriolet, and as a Targa, the latter retaining the glass canopy inaugurated on the 993 and 996.
In 2009, an update (997.2) brought a direct injection engine, a PDK dual-clutch gearbox, and various mechanical adjustments. Performance is being revised up, with a reduction in weight and consumption. The drag coefficient is 0.28 for the Carrera.
Notable fact: for the first time, Porsche is developing the cabriolet version before the coupe, in order to respond more effectively to the structural constraints specific to an open body.
