In 1960, Fritz Schlumpf and his brother Hans were at the head of a textile empire. But Fritz's real passion is cars. In a few years, he acquired 560 classic cars including 123 Bugatti! It tracks down the coveted models all over the world thanks to a network of shutters. This buying frenzy stopped in 1967. His museum then brought together the largest collection of cars in the world! The 70s and the textile crisis led to the bankruptcy of the group. The dispersion of the seized collection will be avoided by the creation of the National Automobile Museum.
