Dreamcars or dream cars! In the 1950s, a time full of promises of an ever better future, the car made people dream, just like jet planes and the conquest of space. To maintain the desire of customers who are always eager for new things, American manufacturers are competing boldly in the design of their dreamcars and the Firebird III presented by GM in 1958 is not the least of the illustrations. Carved like a fighter plane from which it would have borrowed the fins and cockpits, it seems to be the car that a passenger on a lunar flight would have driven to the spacefield!
