Our BMW Z3 M Coupé was delivered new in Japan in 2001. It was purchased by its second owner, French, and then imported into France. Its current owner purchased it in 2018.
Our copy is in exceptional condition. In a Cosmos Black color, combined with Roadstar rims and a two-tone Black and Moss Green leather interior, this BMW Z3 M Coupé has no aesthetic flaws.
In terms of mechanics, our car is equipped with the 321-horsepower M50 3.2 l in-line 6-cylinder engine, combined with its 5-speed manual gearbox. It works great. We have a history over several years, confirming an exclusive interview with BMW.
Here are the options and equipment available to this BMW Z3 M Coupé:
Presented at the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show, the BMW Z3 M Coupé was presented as an atypical model. Based on the Z3 model presented a year earlier and on its predecessor the Z3 M Roadster, the Z3 M Coupé was not in M Motorsport's plans. At issue, competition from its M3 E36.
The project was finally approved, and Burkhard Göschel and Chris Bangle were then responsible for development and design. The Z3 M Coupé has a unique look, a real shooting break. With an extended roof and a plunging line to the rear, side ventilation grills, oval mirrors, specific rims and quad exhaust pipes, the Z3 M Coupé is instantly recognisable.
Mechanically, the Z3 M is equipped with the BMW S50 engine. 6-cylinder in-line with a displacement of 3.2 liters, the S50 is the engine of the M3 e36. With 321 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, the German engine allows the German engine to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, all with a manual gearbox. The 4 exhausts offer a unique metallic tone at each acceleration.
The cabin of the M version is much neater than that of the Z3. The sports seats, the leather extended to the pillars of the center console and the battery of dials complete the experience offered.
An extreme model in every way, the Z3 M Coupé is definitely not for everyone. However, the approximately 6,300 copies will quickly find buyers, and will leave their mark on enthusiasts, for good or for bad!
