Crazy ambition and unlimited passion are the DNA of Christian von Koenigsegg. In 1994, at the age of 22, he founded his brand with the aim of creating the fastest sports car in the world! The prototype rolled out two years later and production started in 2002 with the 1st CC8S. In February 2005, the new Koenigsegg CCR reached 387.86 km/h and broke the speed record for a road car, previously held by the McLaren F1. The new Gemera Hybrid is the most powerful approved car in the world, with a cumulative total of 2,300 hp! Hats off!
There have been pivotal years in Formula 1. Seasons where you feel that something is changing, where certainties waver, where engineering is getting the better of habit. 2026 is one of those seasons. Regulations are changing, cars are being transformed, engines are entering a new hybrid era, and even the grid is welcoming new faces. Cadillac is coming. Audi is getting ready. F1 is about to write a chapter where anything is possible again. And that is undoubtedly what enthusiasts were waiting for: a discipline that reinvents its own future.

Sometimes stories seem unbelievable. One thing is certain, the DeLorean story is a perfect example, so much so that Martin Scorsese could have brought it to the screen. From his beginnings in working life with his first positions at General Motors, to the closure of his recently created company, John Z. Delorean has shone both in his genius and in his astonishing character. Its history and that of its brand, which are little known in their details, deserve some time. A look back is necessary to take stock of a story that is at least... out of the ordinary.
