Ferdinand Alexander, son of Ferry Porsche, did not seem destined to work in the automotive industry. Instead, his choices were directed towards design, which he learned at the Ulm School of Design. But Porsche obliges, family roots and the automobile caught up with him quite early, at the age of 22. His father, looking for a replacement for the 356, gave him this task. Ferdinand Alexander then unveiled the 754 T7 prototype in 1959, which was quickly accepted after some adjustments. From this prototype the 911 was born. Ferdinand Alexander will also design the 904, before creating his own design office, as if nothing had happened!
