What a career path that of Mate Rimac! Born in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1988, he made a name for himself at the age of 19 by converting an old BMW 323i to electric. In 2009, he founded his company based in Croatia and presented the Rimac Concept One, his first electric supercar, in 2011. His mastery of electrical technologies attracted major manufacturers, including Porsche, which took shares in his company. In 2021, Rimac acquired 55% of Bugatti, without giving up on delivering its new electric supercar, the 1914 hp Nevera, which promises a 0 to 300 km/h in... 9.3s!
