Our BMW i8 Roadster, delivered new in Germany on May 6, 2019, was registered in France and changed owner on August 22, 2023. It now totals 65,200 KM.

The BMW i8 Roadster, presented in 2017 and marketed from 2018, is the convertible version of the i8 coupe launched in 2014. It is based on a reinforced carbon (CFRP) and aluminum structure, combining lightness and rigidity, with a strictly two-seater configuration, unlike the coupe which offers two additional rear seats.
The hybrid system combines a 231-hp 1.5-hp three-cylinder turbo engine at the rear with a 143-horsepower electric motor placed at the front. The combined power reaches 374 horsepower, with torque distributed between the two axles, offering non-permanent all-wheel drive. The 0-100 km/h speed is announced in 4.6 seconds.
The lithium-ion battery, located in the center of the car, is increased to 11.6 kWh in this Roadster version, offering up to 50 km of all-electric range according to the NEDC cycle. The fully motorized canvas roof can be folded up to 50 km/h in 15 seconds.
Inside, recycled materials, leather and ceramic inserts coexist in a driver-centric cabin. The i8 Roadster is as much distinguished by its hybrid architecture as by its design, with elytra doors and a low profile inspired by Vision EfficientDynamics concept cars.
