Our Porsche 911 Type 991 Carrera S Cabriolet was delivered new in Germany in 2012. Its current owner acquired it in 2021 after it was imported into France.

This copy is in near new condition, and shows only 48,700 kilometers. In an Indian Red Hue, combined with a black soft top, black rims, and an extended black leather interior, our 991 Carrera S Cabriolet is free of defects. Its entire front block is preserved by a PPF protective film.

Mechanically, the operation of our copy is in accordance with its aesthetic condition and its mileage. The 3.8L 400 horsepower Flat 6, combined with the 7-speed PDK gearbox, is as expressive as ever. At the dawn of the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911, the German brand presented its new generation, the 991, at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. As with previous generations, the S, Cabriolet, Cabriolet, Turbo and Targa versions are among the new models.

The 991 is based on a completely new platform, which is wider and longer by 100mm and 70mm respectively. The use of aluminum and composite materials reduces the weight by around 1,480 kilos for the 991 Carrera S Cabriolet. These changes are accompanied by an evolution of the Flat 6, now developing 400 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque which, combined with the PDK automatic transmission, takes the 991 from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. This engine will also be the last naturally aspirated engine, with Porsche abandoning this solution in favor of the turbo.

The soft top down, the Flat 6 and the PDK gearbox justify the purchase of this 991 Carrera S Cabriolet. The gear changes are meticulous, causing the roar of the Flat 6 with each acceleration. You never get tired of the feedback from gear changes. Consumption, for its part, fell by almost 14% thanks to the PDK box.

In terms of design, the 991 benefits from a new light signature at the rear and a more harmonious design thanks to the longer wheelbase and wider tracks. The soft top strictly repeats the shape of the roof of the closed version without an arch, thanks to the presence of rigid elements.
