Our Porsche 911 Type 997.2 Carrera 4S, delivered new in Germany on May 18, 2009, shows 94,200 KM today. It has been registered in France since it was imported, and changed owners in October 2022.
This model is configured in a black exterior color, combined with a Cocoa leather interior. Both the body and the interior are in very good general condition, with no reported defects. All on-board instrumentation is operating normally.
Under the hood, we find the naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-6 developing 385 horsepower, coupled to the PDK dual-clutch gearbox. All-wheel drive ensures efficient road behavior in all conditions. The mechanics are in perfect working condition.

Presented in 2008 for the 2009 model year, the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Type 997.2 is part of the second phase of the development of the 997 generation, itself the sixth iteration of the 911. It replaces the 997.1 while maintaining its main lines, but with targeted developments: a new 3.8 L engine with direct injection, an optional PDK dual-clutch gearbox, and some discreet aesthetic adjustments such as LED taillights or expanded air intakes.
The engine develops 385 hp at 6,500 rpm, with all-wheel drive. The 0-100 km/h speed is achieved in 4.5 seconds. The top speed reaches 298 km/h. This version also includes an electronically controlled central differential, a reinforced braking system, and a recalibrated suspension. The chassis remains similar to that of the 997.1, but with changes that allow for better stability at high speed.
The Carrera 4S 997.2 comes at a pivotal time for Porsche, in full transition to more efficient engines and more present electronics. Its style marks a return to more traditional elements after the controversies surrounding the design of the 996. It will be replaced in 2011 by the 991 generation.
