This Porsche 911 Type 992 Targa 4S Heritage Design, numbered 679 out of 992, was put into circulation on July 21, 2021 in France (Guadeloupe). The Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition is a limited series that pays tribute to models from the 1950s and 1960s. The first in a series of four special editions of the Heritage Design program, it was unveiled in 2020 and 992 copies were produced. Developed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, it combines classic design elements and modern technologies.
Its Targa body features 5 exclusive colors to choose from: Cherry Metallic, GT Silver Metallic, Black, Indian Red and Chalk Gray, with gold monograms and patterns inspired by motor racing. The Carrera Exclusive Design rims and black brake calipers are reminiscent of historic models. The interior combines leather and corduroy, while the tachometer is illuminated in green, a nod to the Porsche 356.
Technically, the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition is based on the 992 Targa 4S, equipped with a 450 hp biturbo engine, coupled to an 8-speed PDK gearbox or a 7-speed manual gearbox. It reaches 304 km/h and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. This special edition marks the start of a collection celebrating decades past, followed by the 992 Sport Classic, inspired by the 1960s.
