Karl Abarth, born in Vienna in 1908 under the sign of Scorpio, founded his company near Turin in 1949 and adopted the first name Carlo. A mechanical wizard, he specializes in the manufacture of exhaust pipes with an incomparable sound. In 1957, he followed an apple-based diet and lost 30 kg.
