In 2007, designer Henrik Fisker (BMW Z8, Aston V8 Vantage) founded his brand and presented the innovative and spectacular Fisker Karma. A sporty hatchback with electric drive, the Karma is the first eVer*. Here, the heat engine drives a generator that powers the electric motors when the batteries are low. It is not connected to the transmission like on a hybrid. This intelligent solution (seen on the Opel Amperas) but misunderstood, accompanied by reliability and production problems, will lead to the resounding bankruptcy of Fisker Automotive in 2013.
Since its creation, Bugatti has been one of these key brands in the automotive world. And although the path has not always been the easiest, it is clear that the brand is doing at its best. So much so that a new program, parallel to classical production (and yet already so elitist), is emerging: Solitaire.
