After ten years of existence, Lexus only produces hybrid SUVs or sedans for daily use. In 2000, and under the leadership of Haruhiko Tanahashi, the Japanese brand wanted to show off its skills by building a supercar. Engineers have free rein and are developing a carbon chassis and a new V10 engine. The Yamaha team helps them to optimize the sound, for a breathtaking result. The Lexus LFA was officially presented at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. A UFO among the Lexus range, the LFA is a masterpiece of Japanese engineering, currently costing around half a million euros.
