Our Jaguar XJR-S V12, delivered new in Germany on May 26, 1992, has now reached 102,000 km. It was imported into France and its current owner acquired it on December 15, 2022.
This example comes in the rare Flamenco Red shade, combined with a beige leather interior with red stitching. The body is in very good condition, the paint having been redone, while the interior is distinguished by its exceptional presentation for a vehicle of this age. The on-board instrumentation works normally, except for the radio, a recurring problem on Jaguars of this generation.
Under the hood, the naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 develops 308 horsepower, combined with an automatic transmission. The mechanics are in excellent working condition and have been the subject of numerous recent expenses, especially in 2021. The ignition has been completely revised.
The Pirelli P Zero tires have recently been changed. The consumables are in very good overall condition.

The Jaguar XJR-S V12 appeared in 1988 as the sporting culmination of the XJS line. Developed by JaguarSport, the joint venture founded between Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing, it is distinguished by extensive work on the engine, chassis and aerodynamics.
Under the long hood, the V12 increases to 6.0 liters on the latest copies, compared to 5.3 previously. It delivers up to 318 horsepower, transmitted to the rear wheels by a four-speed automatic transmission. The top speed exceeds 250 km/h, a remarkable value for a grand coupe of that time.
The chassis is firmer, the suspensions are specific, and the body receives an exclusive aerodynamic kit, recognizable by its more plunging front fascia and its integrated spoiler. The 16-inch Speedline wheels and the Signal Red color of the first models contribute to the unique identity of this version.
The cabin maintains the cozy atmosphere typical of Jaguar, between stretched leather and varnished woodwork, but adds a few sportier touches, such as wraparound seats and JaguarSport counters. Produced in approximately 1,100 units, the XJR-S V12 remains a rarity, witness to a time when Jaguar tried to reconcile performance and English elegance.
