Our Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet (type 991), delivered new in New Caledonia on April 10, 2013, now shows 41,000 KM. It has been registered in France since its change of ownership in April 2024.

This 991 is configured in the Carrara White color (code C9A), combined with a light gray leather interior (code BR). The body is in excellent overall condition, and the interior is also well preserved. The leather has recently been refreshed. All the instrumentation is operating normally.

The engine is in very good condition, with the naturally aspirated 3.4L flat-6 developing 370 horsepower, coupled to a PDK gearbox. The all-wheel drive offers reassuring behavior regardless of driving conditions.

The Porsche 911 Type 991 marks the seventh generation of the 911, first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011. Based on a completely new platform — only the third since 1963 — it replaces the 997 and is distinguished by an extended wheelbase and better weight distribution, thanks to the powertrain moving backwards.

The Carrera 4 convertible, equipped with all-wheel drive, was unveiled in 2012. It shares its architecture with the coupe versions, but introduces a soft top with a fully automated mechanism. Its 3.4-liter flat engine develops 350 hp, combined with a 7-speed manual gearbox or the dual-clutch PDK, produced by ZF.

The lightweight structure uses aluminum and high-strength steels. The convertible benefits from electronic aids such as Porsche Traction Management and an automatic stop/restart system. Its slightly expanded design maintains the aesthetic codes of the 911 while integrating new technologies.

More than 230,000 copies of the 991 will have been produced until 2019. It marks a transition period, before the arrival of turbo engines on all variants starting with the restyling (991.2), including the Carreras.
